The lens gives a distinctive bokeh and vignetting at maximum aperture and delivers very sharp and almost distortion-free pictures at its smaller apertures. When photographing at an open aperture in backlit conditions you can create intensional lens flares that can be used for specific creative effects.
Versatile lens hoods
Round and Rectangular lens hoods help to reduce glare, flare and contrast in your image, particularly helpful when shooting outdoors, near strong light sources, or when your subject is backlit. The lens hoods are made of black anodised aluminium to increase durability and protect it from environmental impacts.
