Product Description

Enhance your on-camera experience with the Atomos Shinobi II 5.2" HDMI HDR Monitor. Perfect for vloggers, photographers, and content creators, the Shinobi II builds on the original Shinobi with a sleeker design, a 50% brighter 1500 cd/m² display, USB-C camera control for Canon, Panasonic, Sony, and Z CAM with status indicators, the new AtomOS 11 interface, USB-C PD power I/O, a secure HDMI and USB-C adapter, improved image tools, and ultra-low power consumption—allowing all-day operation on a single battery.

Camera Control
The USB-C port enables control of the latest mirrorless and DSLR cameras from Canon, Panasonic, Sony, and Z CAM's E2 line. Additionally, a 2.5mm LANC port provides extended control options. Future firmware updates will expand support to include FUJIFILM, Nikon, OM System, and Sigma cameras.

Camera Status
A camera status indicator displays internal record settings, battery life, and remaining recording time. A red edge highlight shows when the camera is recording, whether triggered by the camera or the Shinobi II.

AtomOS 11 & Advanced Image Tools
Featuring the latest AtomOS 11, the Shinobi II offers an intuitive layout and a variety of new tools. Adjust your camera's aperture, shutter speed/angle, and ISO using built-in exposure tools like false color, waveforms, zebras, and histogram to achieve perfect exposure every time.

Brighter Display
The 5.2" touchscreen display boasts 50% more brightness than its predecessor, with 1500 cd/m² peak brightness for easy visibility indoors and in bright sunlight.

Input Signals
The Shinobi II's HDMI 1.4 input supports various resolutions and frame rates, including DCI/UHD 4K30 and 1080p60.

HDR and LUT Support
Preview your camera's Log output in HDR with HDR HLG and HDR PQ monitoring modes, or upload up to eight custom LUTs to preview your shots with your preferred looks.

Frame Guides
Built-in frame guides cater to both cinematic and social media content creation, with presets for 2.41, 2.35, 1.91, 1.9, 1.85, 16:9, 9:16, 4:5, 2:3, 1:1, 5:4, 4:3, and 3:2 aspect ratios.

Lightweight Design
Weighing only 7.4 oz, the Shinobi II features a slimmer profile with additional locating holes and 1/4"-20 threads for secure mounting. The centrally positioned L-series battery plate enhances balance and maneuverability. The included HDMI/USB-C locking adapter is compatible with Atomos' new locking cables, preventing accidental disconnects.

Power Options
The Shinobi II can be powered through various methods, including an L-series/NP-F style battery, an optional dummy battery with a DC barrel to D-Tap cable, or a USB-C PD charger with a 10W input. Additionally, the USB-C PD 13W output allows you to charge or power your camera while using the monitor's camera control features.
