The Leica Dicomar Lens gives you a professional quality lens that offers up crisp images thanks to the 3CCD image sensor. No tapes are needed either, as the HDC-SD5 records to an SD memory card in all of its splendid HD beauty.

VM-BN1 DVD Burner

Panasonic has included the VM-BN1 DVD burner, free, with the HDC-SD5 camcorder. This burner enables you to burn your video directly from the camcorder's SD memory card to a DVD via the USB cable. The full HD format of your video will transfer to the DVD and be available for you to view immediately after the burning is complete.

1920 x 1080 Full HD Recording

The Panasonic HDC-SD5 SD/SDHC digital camcorder features 1920 x 1080 Full HD Recording. The SD5 comes equipped with 30% more recording pixels than conventional HD camcorders, giving you full detail and resolution that plays back beautifully on HD or standard TVs.
